INFORMATION

The following noise producing activities are not permitted in the Silent Zone. These prohibited activities may include, but are not limited to:

Conversations occurring in person or mediated by a cell phone or other communication device

Use of devices that play recorded music or other sounds

Other activities that can be construed as distractions to library user

Group study is not permitted in the Silent Zone

Food and drinks bought from the Library Café is allowed to be consumed only in the Quiet Zone.

Violations of these policies should be reported to the library staff at a service desk. Individuals who do not comply with this policies may be asked to leave and if necessary, Security Guard will be called to take charge of a situation involving non-compliance with library or university policies.
