What is Automated E-mail notification service?

Service that enable borrowers to receive the notifications from the library via email. The system will send notifications automatically to your INTI email when the borrowed item (books or CD/DVD) is going to overdue or the item is overdue. The librarian will email when the item has been reserved by another user and the reserved item is ready for collection.

The details of notifications are as follows:

NOTIFICATION TYPE REASONS
Courtesy Notification (automated) To remind user 3 days before the item is overdue.
Overdue Notification (automated) To notify user 1 day, 7 days & 100 days after the item is overdue.
Recall Reserved Item Notification (manually) To notify user the borrowed item has been reserved by another user.
Reserved Item Notification (manually) To notify user when the reserved item is ready for collection.
